ABOUT MORGAN

My name is Morgan McIntosh, and I'm the founder of McIntosh Studio, a custom woodworking business based in State College, Pennsylvania.

I build handcrafted furniture and home pieces with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and timeless design. Every project is built one at a time using carefully selected hardwoods and an attention to detail that comes from a lifetime of pursuing excellence.

Before starting McIntosh Studio, I was a three-time All-American wrestler at Penn State and later served as a Green Beret in the U.S. Army, where I also competed through the Army's World Class Athlete Program. Throughout those experiences, I developed a deep appreciation for discipline, hard work, and taking pride in the quality of what I create.

Woodworking began as a hobby while I was still serving in the military and quickly became a passion. I found satisfaction in transforming raw lumber into something beautiful, functional, and built to last. Today, that same passion drives every project that leaves my shop.

My goal is simple: to create furniture that becomes part of your family's story—pieces that are used, enjoyed, and passed down for years to come.

I live in State College with my wife, Logan, and our three children, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to build meaningful pieces for homes throughout Central Pennsylvania and beyond.
